Sep. 9, 2016 – Two days prior to the 15th anniversary of the Muslim attack on the World Trade Center Towers, Sacramento radio AM 1530 KFBK was heard proselytizing for the Muslim religion.

Note that this was not a Public Service Announcement or paid advertisement; it was within a news report about the 9/11 anniversary.  During the 9:00 am news broadcast this morning, news anchor Kitty O’Neil said, paraphrased:

” This Sunday, Sep. 11 marks the 15th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center that killed Americans.  The next, Monday, Sep. 12, is a Muslim holiday and Muslims are concerned about a backlash because it is so close to 9/11. ”

A representative from CAIR is introduced.  He explained the holiday.  I do not think he named it; it’s the Eid al-Adha, the Feast of Sacrifice.

The news story ends with, “CAIR hopes you will reach out to Muslims to learn about this holiday.”

In Muslim countries, Eid al-Adha is Celebrated with Ritualistic, Bloody Street Slaughter of Farm Animals

CAIRO — It is never easy to be an animal rights activist in the Arab world. But on Id al-Adha, the annual Muslim religious holiday when the streets run red with the blood of slaughtered sheep, cows and camels, it is a nightmare.

“Ah, I can’t stand it!” wailed Amina Abaza, wincing as she drove through a gantlet of hanging carcasses and entrails, with doomed sheep bleating all around her.

“Islam is all about compassion, but we don’t practice it!”

An ebullient 55-year-old with a big mane of blond hair, Ms. Abaza has spent a decade campaigning to spare the animals, or at least require more humane slaughtering methods. She has a long way to go.

The scene in Cairo’s working-class Sayyida Zeinab neighborhood Tuesday morning was fairly typical: camels bellowed as blood-soaked butchers wrestled dozens of animals to the ground and slashed their throats for an admiring crowd.

Neighbors leaned out their windows to watch and cheer, or snap cellphone pictures. Little boys daubed their hands in the blood and spattered one another, and teenagers helped remove steaming entrails from the carcasses. Scores of people pressed forward to buy fresh meat for the ritual holiday meal, standing in puddles of clotted gore.

Muslims from around the world gather to sacrifice cattle in celebration of Eid al-Adha as their families look on.   The Daily Mail – 09/24/2015.  Very graphic.

Ceremonial killings in slaughterhouses, in parks and even in the streets were seen today as part of Eid al-Adha, one of the holiest days of Islam’s calendar.

From swelling crowds, including children, on the Gaza Strip, through rites in Malaysia, China and Thailand through to Europe, worshipers came together in what is known as a commemoration of Allah’s mercy.

Thank A Catholic Bishop for Muslim Resettlement

We wonder if Catholic religious celebrations will ever be endorsed during a non-Muslim radio news report in the same manner!  They are nonviolent and peaceful.

The only animal sacrificed by Catholics is the Chocolate Easter Bunny, and it may be “halal” – sharia-approved – if bought outside the U.S.
